The next move is...!

[Godaime Tsunade]

"Shizune!"

Sitting behind the desk, her red, surprisingly well manicured fingertips tapped against the wood patiently. It'd been hectec around the building lately, and her assistant was doing almost everything business related. Filing paperwork and going the extra mile, to even bring them to her own home. It was true -- she was getting sicker by the day. It wasn't anything obvious to outsiders, but to those closest to the Godaime, it was rather noticable. Some days she couldn't gather the energy, to make it into the office while others, she could. It was on and off again, her symptoms and troublesome to her thoughts. Tsunade wasn't a fool, she understood perfectly well what was happening. The Sozo Saisei Jutsu was finally releasing the permanent affects from years of using it. Although it wasn't altering her appearance to look any older -- yet, it was starting to slowly, but surely, attack at her muscles.

During moments like this, she couldn't help but surprisingly offer a grin, and mutter to Jiraiya, wherever he was. "You were right. It's catching up to me, at the completely wrong time." As a medic-nin, who grew up during the Great War, Mitotic Regeneration was often needed for her survival. If she died, nobody else in the squads would be able to heal injuries. If she died in the middle of a battle, more lives would be lost and when it came to that, she didn't gamble on the what if's. There wasn't any, what if I survive but remained injured? Or, what if I retreat to the nearest Konoha medical post for treatment? There was none of that. She was the medic-nin and she'd be damned, if someone else died on her watch. "Shizune!" Her patience beginning to waver, she didn't have time for this today. While she still had the energy, she needed to get some things done. It was, as some would say, a dramatic shift in personality compared to her usual, sleep-in-and-drink, method.

Pushing her chair back, ignoring the vibrations as it slammed against the wall, she stood. Walking away, the semi-damaged concrete crumbling, creating a small hole with extending cracks, she approached the file cabinet and pulled any drawer open. She was never organized to begin with and relied on Shizune a lot, so this was going to be a bit complicated. Especially with her absence this week from the building but she needed the Leaf-nin statistics, along with the current economy charts for Konohagakure. Sunagakure was pleading for help, but before she could assist them, she needed to make sure her own village would be alright with the spared shinobi. That meant she needed yesterday's reports, not the files from seventy-two hours ago. She could handle this here, but currently, had to include more factors in. Hench, why she contacted the clans and told them to send anybody they could in, to give their own statistics report. She wanted the casualties list with dates of death, dates or birth, any changes the clans had experienced.

She had a feeling, by the end of the day; even if she needed Sakura to drag her to the bar, she was getting some damn Sake.

[Aburame Shino]

The three man cell consisting of Inuzuka kiba, Hyuuga Hinata and Aburame Shino had just arrived in Konoha after finishing a small B ranked mission assigned to them by the rather irate Hokage. Recently his team had begun to notice changes in not only the village leader's behaviour, but physical status as well. However until anyone else caught on to the changes team 8 remained silent and continued to do as they were ordered by their Hokage. Their next task had already been given before they had even left for their previous mission. They were to deliver statistics on their respective clans' current state to Tsunade-sama for some sort of plan it seemed. They had not been properly informed beforehand, but received word that it was to help one of their closest allies. With the Aburame village leader in bed with an odd illness Shino had been trusted to deliver these statistics to Tsunade himself. As both Hinata and Kiba left to retrieve the statistics for their clans as well Shino continued onwards to the Hokage mansion. For a moment he could have sworn that the far right end of the building had shook. A thin eyebrow rose in confusion, though he continued flawlessly on his path to the village leader. While passing by various of the Hokage's staff members he came across the ever energetic Konohamaru, pulling a prank on Genma as usual. Sometimes he swore that that child was Naruto's blood relative. After the momentary distraction Shino set his sights on the long stairway that lead to the Hokage's office. With documents in hand he proceeded up said stairs, though he was stopped momentarily by one of the staff members. "S-Shino-san.. Hokage-sama has not been in a good mood today, so.. Please be careful!" The warning had dug it's way into Shino's ears and he replied with a silent nod. He knew how terrifying the Hokage could be when she was in a foul mood. It was a good thing that Kiba wasn't here at the moment. With that unpredictable mouth of his a brawl could have ensued at any moment, should he choose his words unwisely. With each step he took up the stairs the sound of his sandals hitting the wooden pavement echoed through the rather narrow stairway. Up ahead he could hear similair, yet somewhat louder footsteps approaching him. He proceeded with caution, taking into account the staff member's warning and made his way up to the end of the stairway.

[Godaime Tsunade]

Withdrawing a bunch of documents, she turned on her heel. Marching back to the desk, plopping behind it, she dropped the folders onto the desk and stared at them. Before she started pulling everything apart, she needed to think. Be logical... be... "SHIZUNE!" Shouting, she felt her nose wrinkle tightly in irritation. Where had she gone? Usually, she was always around and whenever called, appeared instantly. Sighing softly, opening one of the nearest folders, she began flipping through the pages. All the dates kept going back further and further -- so, where the hell, did the recent reports go? They should have been right here in the administration office. Irritation only increasing once someone entered the room, she slammed her fist ontop of the folders and snapped her head upward. "Who is it?!"

Spotting Shino, she attempted to regain her composure. "Oh, well. Come on in." Obviously he was already inside the office, but she had to do something, to stop herself from acting so... unprepared. The sad fact happened to be, she was. She was overwhelmed at the moment and needed a miracle to happen. The casualty reports only kept increasing with fatalities, along with the injured from missions. That was almost equally as high. Things were getting real dangerous and she needed to protect the village, along with keep it stable financially. It was becoming tougher and during times like these, she had to ask her grandfather, and former sensei... how did they do it? Was it luck on their side? She'd been known for having notorious misfortune herself, but only blamed it on gambling. It would be her luck, that such karma followed her home.

Clearing her throat, she extended a hand. "I'm guessing your here for the Aburame Clan reports, Shino?"

[Aburame Shino]

"Hai Tsunade-sama. I hope the information I've gathered is appropriate." Shino stood before the obviously irrate Hokage and placed the two documents onto her table. The Aburame clan status was quite well concidering that there had only been one death in the past two months. Also a total of 13 newborns were schedualed to be born within the next three months. Shino had also listed the capable and uncapable clan members ranging from those with simple sicknesses to those with seemingly carreer ending injuries. His last document which he held to himself held the list with the names of those who needed to be sent to the Konoha hospital for further surgery. After his visit here he would proceed there.

"Inuzuka Kiba and Hyuuga Hinata will be here shortly with their own reports. Now if I may be excused I have one last matter to attend to before I go back to interrogation. Tsunade-sama."

He bowed when saying her name one last time and proceeded out of the door. A small bead of sweat rolled down his cheek and he could breath easily now that that ominous atmosphere had dissapeared. Tsunade-sama was indeed frightening.

[Yamato;]

Yamato made his climb to the room that held the Hokage, he had a report on yet another ANBU Squad ready to be diploid at her command, as he walked down the long hall he was passed by the hooded Aburame Shino, probably there to report on the wellbeing of the Aburame clan, Yamato chose not to speak with him though, just to keep his peace to himself, he had already spoken to her staff and gotten clearance to see her, but he thought it somewhat a disrespect to just barge in, so he rose his hand to tap softly on the door.

“Godaime Hokage…It’s Tenzou…” He spoke in a low tone, not knowing if she was feeling more ill today than last time, or if it was one of those days where she felt better than most, he also chose to speak his real name other than his code name in her presence, he shifted his head piece that resembled that of the Nidaime Hokage seeing that it was leaning slightly to the left.

He then sat there and awaited her response to enter or to leave a message with the staff, he knew she was busy, especially in such a period where the Hokage would have to make decisions that would cripple the will of a normal Shinobi, but such was the cost of being Hokage.

"Thank you." Accepting the reports, she heard his request and quirked an eyebrow. His hood and sunglasses may have covered most of his facial features, but she could tell by the straining of his muscles... he was struggling to keep his composure straight. Was she really that frightening today? With some of the Konoha loud mouths like Naruto and Kiba, she wouldn't mind, but when her demeanor was naturally scary enough to even affect someone like Shino, she knew it was time to tone down her attitude. "Your excused, i'll be awaiting your teammates. Also, give reguards to your father." Raising a hand, she waved him off as he exited.

Opening the folder, on the front page was the overall summary in the form of statistics. The Aburame Clan seemed to be doing pretty well. Actually, better than most of the clan's were. It was a plus in this dreary situation but nothing to be celebrating over. She knew the Aburame were so intuned with their insects, a lot of chakra didn't have to be strained. Yet the cases for the other families were different. The Inuzuka, Nara, Yamanaka, Akimichi and Hyuuga, their Kekkei Genkei were heavily chakra based attacks. More injuries and deaths came from them, due to energy depletion at the wrong moments. It was such a tragedy, one Tsunade couldn't help but feel guilty about.

Stacks of paperwork were to the side, as she eyed them. Would they have the recent reports? Before she could start digging through the files and forms, she heard a knock. Glancing to the door, directing her attention to the voice, when he identified himself, she allowed a small 'Ah.' to escape past her lips. "Tenzou, you may enter."

[Yamato;]

Yamato pushed open the door to the Hokage’s room, closed it behind him, gave a respectful bow to her, and approached her desk, “Tsunade-Sama, I have the recent reports on all the new ANBU teams…” He placed the folder in front of her, “They have all been trained in both basic and advanced Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and elite weaponry, and all by me…” He took pride in that statement, he took pride in knowing that he had trained multiple Shinobi in a field of elite’s.

“They are prepared to go out on your orders, half are trained to be excellent in infantry, the other are prepared for the front line, ma’am…” He had been put in charge of picking and training certain Shinobi in the way of ANBU for some time now, and each time he showed the same level of respect for each and every one of them.
